Donating to Charity

A few months back my Dad showed me a website where you are able to donate money to people in third world countries trying to start a business. The website is www.kiva.org and you can donate a minimum of $25 dollars and of course as much as you may have ever wanted to give a person. Last spring I donated $25 to help a lady establish a clothing business and just got repaid. Her total loan was for $600 and several people loaned her money. The payback percentage is very high. Needless to say I have re-donated that money and encourage all to visit. It can make a nice Christmas present. It gives you that warm and fuzzy feeling inside.

On a side note I have to re-pay a visit to the dentist again. I need a couple of caps and the dentist says I need to have my wisdom teeth pulled. As far as the wisdom teeth are concerned, don't you think they are fine back there if they aren't painful and they aren't pushing all my other teeth forward and causing a crooked smile. I wish I knew more about reading dental x-rays. I think pulling wisdom teeth today is similar to everyone having their tonsils removed way back when. An unnecessary procedure. But I think his business has declined for him and that he needs some extra cash for Christmas gifts. Bastard.....

That website sounds really cool.

Also, as far as your wisdom teeth go, my dad (retired dentist) has told my husband that the longer you wait to get them pulled, the harder it could be, the more painful, and the more chance of complications, etc. So not having them pulled now is a risk that could pay off or could be painful!
